Gears require precise tooth profiles to mesh smoothly, and we machine them from solid metal on CNC mills. Our custom CNC gears service produces spur gears and simple gear blanks to your required outer diameter, tooth count, and bore size. We machine the teeth using a form cutter or a hobbing process if available, depending on the gear size and module. The centre hole is bored to fit your shaft, and a keyway can be added. Materials include steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. This service suits replacement gears and light-duty drive components.
