Mechanical shafts must be produced with close attention to diameter, length, and the position of each step, because they locate bearings and transmit torque. Our custom CNC shafts service turns bar stock to your exact specification. You may define the overall length, the diameter and length of each section, and any additional features such as keyways, circlip grooves, chamfers, or threaded ends. We work from a drawing or a clear dimensioned sketch, and every feature is confirmed with you before machining. Materials include mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and other alloys on request. Both single shafts and larger quantities are supported.
When submitting a shaft enquiry, please tell us:
- Overall length and all major diameters
- Step positions and lengths
- Any threads, keyways, or cross-holes
- Required surface finish or coating
The amount shown is a deposit to initiate the design review. The final price depends on the shaft geometry, material, and quantity. Use our CNC shafts form to upload your drawing, and we will provide a firm quotation before production begins.
